Goss & Genus are advocates for ethically made, high-quality products and slow living. They are proud to be GOTS certified and their bedding is made by Fairtrade certified producers, meaning they uphold the highest sustainability standards, currently available for textiles from a sociological and ecological perspective.

THE BRIEF
We had a wonderful experience working together with Reem, the founder of Goss & Genus on her website redesign. Reems passion for bringing ethical, high quality and carefully considered bed linens to those wishing to invest in sustainable bedding was a central driving force in us creating a website which represented her values and commitment to supporting better health and a greater planet through her products.

A key element to the project involved us redesigning and developing their product page with ease of use and clear access to product information in mind. Colour swatches were added in addition to iconised product information tabs. We utilised Shopify's Metafield functionality to ensure each product information tab contained dynamic information specific to each product.

Mandy can think beyond the aesthetics of your web build and also factor in the user experience which is a skill. The communication was always clear which helped massively with keeping to schedule and where I lost my way. I’ve used Shopify before, but being so involved in this build and being walked through some of the functionality, has giving me lots of learnings. I recently had to make some product additions and it was much easier than it would have been without working together.
